Liz began her journey to natural health and healing in 2002, when she found Yoga as a method of stress relief. She quickly learned that there are many benefits associated with a regular practice and began applying various types of yoga. She gained deeper experience and knowledge in the specific classes that supported her growth. Yoga helped Liz overcome pain associated with spinal degeneration and stress related conditions to remain flexible and live an active lifestyle. During her discovery process, she learned that yoga truly is accessible for everybody. Liz chose to pass on the gift of yoga, and so her teaching began.
She began to understand that our bodies are powered by energy; when our energy is balanced, we feel healthy. In her 30 year career as a Registered Nurse and part time nursing instructor, she realized her love of teaching the value of health and well being. Combining her caring nature of health with yoga and energy healing, she now shares her education as gifts to pass on to others.
Liz has had the opportunity to study and practice with many teachers over the years of her growth as a yoga practitioner and healer. These include, Aadil Palkivala, Sarah Powers, David Swenson, Judith Hansen-Laseter, Bo Forbes, Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman-Yee. Most recently, she has received training from Ann Bibbey, who is an intuitive healer and Reiki Master/Teacher. She has received guidance of Kriya Yoga and meditation from Swamiji Yogacharya Darmanda.
